I set a goal, identify every obstacle between me and it, and build my way through — from CAD to code, from circuit to concept.
I am a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at ETH Zürich, finishing my first year with an average of 5.27 / 6. My approach to engineering is not defined by a single discipline — I move fluidly between mechanics, electronics, software, and finance whenever a project demands it.
My projects reflect this mindset. I designed and built a robotic jukebox from scratch — modelling 15 PLA parts in Fusion 360, wiring four motors, and writing all embedded C++ on an Arduino Uno — because I wanted to automate the act of playing vinyl records. I co-founded stran.ch, developing Solidity smart contracts for a Swiss real estate tokenisation platform on Polygon. And I am exploring a smartphone-to-tablet interface that bridges mobile and desktop use cases.
What drives me is not technical mastery in isolation, but the ability to see the full problem — to identify what separates me from a working solution, acquire the necessary skills, and build it. Trilingual in French, German (C1 — DSD2), and English (C1 — IELTS 7.5).
